On Saturday, January 22, 2011, we received a new creation into our midst. Seamus Leland Sexton was baptized into Christ, surrounded by his family and godparents. Glory to God for ALL Things!

Our New Century partner Christina paid the parish a visit on the first day of the Great Fast to tell us all about what she has been up to for the last 2 years in Romania and what she is about to undertake in the Republic of Moldova for the next 2 years.

Five souls were spliced onto the Body of Christ through reception as Catecumens. Thomas Readler, Albert McCarthy, Brandee McCarthy, Noah McCarthy, and Elizabeth McCarthy now continue their journey toward full reception into the Holy Orthodox Church. May God grant them Many Years!

Welcome Fr. Deacon Daniel! - 05/29/11

On Sunday, May 29, we were happy to receive a visit from Father Deacon Daniel Mathai. A deacon of the Malankara Indian Orthodox Church and a seminary classmate of Fr. Adam, Dn Daniel is the Office Manager for the Chancery of the Indian Orthodox American Diocese.

Saturdays from June- August St. John's now sponsors a flea market every saturday from 8am-4pm. It has met with some marked success and has been growing. May God bless our efforts.

At long last the "Upper room" parish classroom is finally getting a much needed coat of fresh paint.

Mr. Barry Bennington of Bennington and Sons Churhc Repair goes to work on repairing our severely wind damaged rear cupola. Also the 100 year old cross is damaged extensively from the wind and will most likely be replaced.

On the Eve of Our Lord's Nativity, our catechumen Thomas was received lovingly into full communion with the Holy Orthodox Church. May God grant him Many Years!
